Qualified applicants should hold the following:- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in data entry or logistics planning/operations.
- Ability to use a ten (10) key data entry method and proficient at managing inventory and maintaining inventory accounts.
- Possess superior task, resource and time management abilities.
- Exemplary problem-solving skills that help to identify defects and shortcomings.
- Ability to communicate business-related and general information efficiently in verbal and written formats.
- Excellent math, organizational, and computer skills required (MS Outlook, MS Word, Advanced user of Excel).
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred candidates will have at least five (5) years of experience in ERP specific data entry, logistics planning/operations management or software-based inventory management.
- Associate degree in a logistics, operations, or business-related field.
- Previous knowledge of any the following: inventory management, order scheduling, logistics and transportation, enterprise level data entry.
The Location
Travel is required. Work sites are out-of-state and at the request of our clients. Order Management Specialists should expect to be away from home for between six (6) weeks to three (3) months at a time. GEBM covers all travel costs (flights, lodging and rental cars).
Team members should expect to be scheduled for work as per client/customer needs. This may include work weeks more than forty (40) hours, weekend and/or overnight shifts.
Compensation and Payroll Schedule
Order Management Specialists are an hourly non-exempt position. GEBM operates on a weekly pay schedule and adheres to all local and federal tax policies. Team members are also eligible for a per diem when located at on-site (away from home) projects.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, crawl, sit, move about, hear and speak. They may be required to work in restricted spaces and/or under difficult lighting and access conditions. Noise levels may be high when operating power equipment. Employee may be exposed to hot or cold outside weather conditions when transporting materials. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to sixty (60) pounds and be able to use appropriate support equipment to lift and move greater amounts. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employee is required to use properly use such safety equipment as is appropriate to the work to prevent injury to self or others.
